WebI have a Calix GigaCenter 844E-1 provided by my ISP. I set its local IP range for WiFi and Ethernet to 192.168.x.x with its IP set to 192.168.0.1 and a starting IP of 192.168.0.2.. I used to have a second router with OpenWRT connected to it by WiFi, with it also configured to have its own SSID, also using the 192.168.x.x range for that and its Ethernet. WebThe ethernet ports are definitely gigabit on a Gigacenter. If you are comparing the TPLink to the Gigacenter, I would say that the Gigiacenter is superior. Good luck convincing your ISP to make any changes that opens anything up or changes how the Gigacenter works. Stick with the Gigacenter IMO.
